Do you think the Bush administration was wrong for authorizing and using waterboarding to gather information from terrorists? If you do , you are an idiot–not to mention anti-American, unpatriotic, douchebag, moron, stupid and retarded. You think that is torture? THIS is torture–
A hijacked commercial airliner with over 100 passengers, not know if they are going to live or die. Then that same airliner carrying 100′s of gallons of jet fuel crashes into the higher floors of a skyscraper. The burning jet fuel melts the steel of the structure, trapping everyone on the floors above the crash. The flames burn hotter, the building collapses killing not only those trapped, but also those trying to escape and also those trying to rescue. Multiply that times two. Then add those that died at the Pentagon and the crashed flight in Pennsylvania–almost 3000. Don’t for get over 4200 troops in Iraq and almost 1200 in Afghanistan, not to mention the USS Cole, The barracks in Beirut and others places. Almost 10000 Americans killed by Islamic terrorists. We waterboarded 1 low life piece if camel dung and you b!tch and moan about how wrong it was.
Who’s freakin’ side are you on anyway? Why the hell are you living in America? What is wrong with you? A stinkin’ r@ghe@d means more to you than your fellow American. Get the hell out–you make me sick!

“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

It is our right as a citizen of the United States to keep and carry weapons for hunting and protective purposes. But there is a an effort underway to do away with this right. Why would any one want to do away with a right guaranteed us by our founding fathers? All of us know that the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States is probably the biggest blunder we’ve ever made as a country. He will take away every right until we are solely reliant on the government for survival. He is seeking to take away our right to keep and bear arms. Will you allow this to happen? The very amendment in question gives the power back to the people so nonsense like what is going on with our government right now can stop and get back to what was intended for us as a country. Let us dissect the amendment and find out why gun control is such a controversial issue and how we’ve been duped into believing that it has been interpreted correctly.

What is a militia? We are lead to believe a militia is the National Guard. It is not. The following is what a militia was according to the founders of the Constitution:
The history of militia in the United States dates from the colonial era, such as in the American Revolutionary War. Based on the British system, colonial militias were drawn from the body of adult male citizens of a community, town, or local region. Because there were usually few British regulars garrisoned in North America, colonial militia served a vital role in local conflicts, particularly in the French and Indian Wars. Before shooting began in the American War of Independence, American revolutionaries took control of the militia system, reinvigorating training and excluding men with Loyalist inclinations. Regulation of the militia was codified by the Second Continental Congress with the Articles of Confederation. The revolutionaries also created a full-time regular army—the Continental Army—but because of manpower shortages the militia provided short-term support to the regulars in the field throughout the war.
In colonial era Anglo-American usage, militia service was distinguished from military service in that the latter was normally a commitment for a fixed period of time, probably at least a year, for a salary, whereas militia was only to meet a threat, or prepare to meet a threat, for periods of time expected to be short. Militia persons were normally expected to provide their own weapons, equipment, or supplies, although they may later be compensated for losses or expenditures.
A related concept is the jury, which can be regarded as a specialized form of militia convened to render a verdict in a court proceeding (known as a petit jury or trial jury) or to investigate a public matter and render a presentment or indictment (grand jury).
With the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and Article 1 Section 8 of the United States Constitution, control of the army and the power to direct the militia of the states was concurrently delegated to the federal Congress. The Militia Clauses gave Congress authority for “organizing, arming, and disciplining” the militia, and “governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States”, with the States retaining authority to appoint officers and to impose the training specified by Congress.
Proponents describe a key element in the concept of “militia” was that to be “genuine” it not be a “select militia”, composed of an unrepresentative subset of the population. This was an argument presented in the ratification debates.(Wikipedia)

So simply put a militia is a group of citizens voluntarily called on in time of emergency to help the country get back on it feet or to help defend it against attack or insurrection. The militia members were to own there own guns and ammunition and may or may not have received compensation for what supplies they used. The militia is not the National Guard as we know today. The National Guard is ultimately responsible to The Federal Government, not the state to which it comes from. The oath they take is the same as the U.S. Armed Forces, with the addition of defending the state they are from constitution and obey the orders of the president and the governor. So look at what a militia did and what the definition of it today is and you answer whether or not this part of the 2nd Amendment is correct. Take a look at these interesting and informative writings from our founding fathers–

“In the first major Federalist pamphlet, aimed at the people of Pennsylvania, Noah Webster had contended, “Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands of regular troops than can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States.”
Amazing what this man knew and what is more amazing, if every person who did not vote for Obama had a gun and wanted to take this country back, they could!! You must remember half the country didn’t vote for him and a good number who did wished they hadn’t! Let’s go further–
“On a similar theme, Madison, in The Federalist No. 46, invoked “the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation,” avowing that if European civilians were comparably equipped, “it may be affirmed with the greatest assurance that the throne of every tyranny in Europe would be speedily overturned in spite of the legions which surround it.”
Are you starting to get the picture?? More–

“In Virginia, the Federalists’ task was complicated by the state’s unusual alignment on the federal constitutional issues. The leaders who opposed an unamended constitution, and were calling for a bill of rights, came from varied backgrounds. The conservative George Mason and the liberal Thomas Jefferson joined forces to promote a bill of rights, despite their earlier differences over what that bill should contain. They were joined by the fire-brand Patrick Henry and the more staid Richard Henry Lee, both of whom defy simple classification. Although Mason was a strong supporter of the traditional militia concept, he was acutely aware of the threat to the institution, which resulted from the lack of an individual right to keep arms. Forty years ago, when the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people–that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them–but that they should not do it openly; but to weaken them and let them sink gradually, by totally disusing and neglecting the militia.”
These guys knew that if the citizens were armed, they could not let the government become too much in control, like it is today. Their argument was to keep the people under control of government, take away their guns. Does that sound like anything that is going on today??? Check out this one–

” Patrick Henry shared similar fears. The “militia, sir, is our ultimate safety,” he argued, yet, “[t]he great object is that every man be armed . . . every one who is able may have a gun.” Even Richard Henry Lee concluded, “to preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.” Although, to Lee, “the young and ardent part of the community, possessed of but little or no property” could not be relied upon as the militia, he nevertheless thought that this part of the community should be allowed to possess arms.”
Wow, teach young people how to use weapons? That would never be taught in today’s government run schools, would it.? So now I have established that a militia is not the National Guard let’s look at the second half of the 2nd amendment.

We have the right to keep and bear arms. Plain and simply put we have the right to own and carry a weapon. Do we have that right today? To “legally” own a gun we must register it. And when we do, the Federal Government knows we are in possession of a firearm. Which makes it that much easier to know where to go to confiscate them when the 2nd Amendment is repealed. A legal citizen will have his gun taken away while the criminal keeps his. Where is the logic? A legal gun owner shoots an intruder breaking into his house and is charged with murder. Where is the justice in that? If someone can explain to me why I need a permit to carry weapon when the Constitution clearly says we have that right. Maybe if people were allowed to exercise that right, the streets would be a lot safer than what they are now.
So why do I tell you all this? To make you aware of just how watered done the Constitution has become. We are puppets in the game of bringing the downfall of America as we know it. It is time to stand up and take back our rights and freedoms and quit being pacifists about what is going on around us. The only solution may be another Civil War and unfortunately I believe we are headed in that direction. Take a lesson from the first Civil War–the South lost, but they stood up for what they believed was right. It wasn’t a slavery issue, it was a Federal Government/States issue–who was in control. And the outcome of that war gave complete power to the Federal Government.

It’s time to take it back!!!!

obama-dumb-and-dumber-11Is there such a term? Can one be a Democrat and a Christian? I know as it stands Republicans aren’t much better. But which platform best describes your morals, values and beliefs? The one that promotes abortion, gay marriage, keeping prayer out of schools, socialism (which is the transitional stage between capitalism and communism–where there is no God and religion) or the one that at least tries to be the last bastion of decency. Sorry, but you can’t follow the teachings of Jesus and follow the platform of the Democratic Party. If you say you do, you are lying to me and yourself  -it cannot be done.

Read the following dialogue between myself and a “Christian Democrat”. Compromise has infiltrated the church big time!! You can read the entire post at -

http://chadholtz.wordpress.com/2008/10/27/my-response-to-dr-james-dobson

I will just post the statement I questioned.

Chad said:
“Personally, I feel Obama and the democratic platform more accurately reflect the Gospel.”
Obama said:
“the first thing he would do as president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would do away with many state-level restrictions on abortion.”
Now that is Christ-like, isn’t it Chad? Would Jesus support such a thing?

Response from “Chris”-

“Now that is Christ-like, isn’t it Chad? Would Jesus support such a thing?”

Hey lets go tit for tat…

McCain supports the Bush Doctrine. Jesus said “you have heard it said an eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth but I tell you…”

I’m not implying I want to go tit for tat I’m just sayin…

My response-

Chris said:
“McCain supports the Bush Doctrine”

Stephen says:
I never mentioned McCain and didn’t expect the answer to be a question. Simple logic is what I want. You vote for the person who best represents your beliefs and values. The statement Chad made makes me wonder why he associates himself with the Gospel of Jesus Christ when everything the Democratic party stands for goes against his teachings. Abortion, taking God out of everything near and dear to us, prayer in schools, gay marriages, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, not MERRY CHRISTMAS–do I need to go on? McCain is moderate at best, but the results of this election only tells me the moral
fabric of this country is no longer in tact. Even the “christians” are compromising!

“Chris’” response-

Stephen said:”Even the “christians” are compromising!”

Not comprising nor am I conflating issues as you have done with that whole diatribe. Sans your nice tone the quotation marks indicate that you don’t believe I’m a real Christian because I voted for Barack.

Stephen said “everything the Democratic party stands for goes against his teachings. Abortion, taking God out of everything near and dear to us, prayer in schools, gay marriages, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, not MERRY CHRISTMAS–do I need to go on?”

Why don’t you prove to me that the Democratic party is solely responsible for everything in that list and then we can talk.
Start with Roe v Wade, and see the political parties of the presidents who nominated the judges that made the decision. Give you a hint the majority of the judges weren’t nominated by a Democrat.

On a final note legislating morality only works as long as you remain in power. Jesus wasn’t about dominion he was about freedom. Change a mans heart and you won’t have to worry about the laws. That’s why the Christian Right is having a temper tantrum right now about President elect Barack Obama.

My response-

Chris said:
“Give you a hint the majority of the judges weren’t nominated by a Democrat.”
That may be true, but read history before you spew rhetoric. The media has taught you well. The author of Roe v. Wade, Harry Blackmun, was recommended to President Nixon for nomination by Justice Warren Burger. He was believed to keep a conservative interpretation of the law. He obviously made a left turn along the way. He was Republican in party, but not in thinking. Warren Burger -Republican, William O. Douglas-Democrat, William J. Brennan, Jr-Democrat, Potter Stewart-Republican, Byron White-Democrat, Thurgood Marshall-Democrat, Lewis F. Powell, Jr-Republican, William Rehnquist-Republican. Three of them nominated by Nixon, two by Eisenhower–and one turned made a no left turn. Tell me, Chris–do you believe abortion is a right to privacy issue? Or do you believe it is murder of innocent children? Obama himself said “if my daughter makes a mistake, why should she be PUNISHED with a baby?” The Bible from which you adhere to says “Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.” (Psalm 127:3)
That line of thinking directly contradicts the Word of God. And if you believe that, YOU my friend are a hypocrite.

Chris’ response-

tephen said: “That may be true, but read history before you spew rhetoric.”

Wow you accuse me of truth and rhetoric in the same sentence. I’m amazed. Since your previous diatribe conflated every evil in the U.S. with Dems. I would say you have a hard time with rhetoric.

For every asinine comment you can come up with that Barack said (which the one you cited is by far the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard anyone say) I can come up with 10 from Bush, McCain, or Palin. But that’s not the point.

For the record I don’t agree with abortion. I absolutely abhor it. I believe it’s counter to the word of God. And I still voted for Barack. Wanna know why? Because anybody he nominates for Supreme Court isn’t going to affect abortion. Abortion will not be overturned in this country. NEVER! Not in my life time not in my kids life time. NEVER! It’s a non-issue now.

BTW I am hypocrite…no fear of that in my eyes. But so was the Apostle Paul. For that which I want to do I can not do and that which I do not want to do I do.

One more thing… 7 of the 9 justices voted in favor of Roe v Wade. Of the two justices that voted NO 1 was a Republican nominee and the other a Dem nominee. So again your Dems are evil doesn’t square with the facts.

And another tidbit about me; I’m treasurer of the local Right to Life chapter. I know…terrible.

My response-

Chris-
You dodged my question just like a good democrat–I will repeat it:
Tell me, Chris–do you believe abortion is a right to privacy issue? Or do you believe it is murder of innocent children?
Obama himself said “if my daughter makes a mistake, why should she be PUNISHED with a baby?” The Bible from which you adhere to says “Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.” (Psalm 127:3)
How do you respond to what your hero believes and what the word of God says?

BTW, Chris-
The assinine statement I quoted from Obama is on record ‘ cuz he said it–I didn’t!
And if you are the treasurer for the local Right to Life, what in the hell are you doing raising money for a cause you deemed a non -issue, you freakin’ hypocrite!
I dare you to answer !

From Chad-

Stephen,As paradoxical as it may seem to you the truth of the matter is that people who voted for Obama and even people who are pro-choice are not pro-abortion. Furthermore, abortion is not the only pro-life issue that we should consider as Christians.

Whether we like it or not abortion is not going to go away. What we as the Church CAN do, however, is rather than trying to get the government to legislate our moral virtues we could spend more time ministering to those families caught in the trap of hopelessness and feeling as though they have no alternatives. Getting the government to do our job for us is not the solution. If anything it might bring some short-term change (but even then, a lifting of R.v.Wade would only put the decision back in the hands of states and create an economy in some states on the backs of abortion clinics) but not the lasting change that changing people’s hearts can bring.

I think abortion is terrible – I hate it. But I also hate that millions of people in our country are uninsured. I hate that our ecomony is driven by a system that rewards the rich and damns the poor. I hate that we are in a pointless war and have killed thousands of innocent people (children included). Like I said, there are many pro-life issues. The hypocrites, IMO, are those who sound the trumpet for sanctity of life in the womb and sound the trumpet to drop bombs in foreign lands.

peace

My response:

Chad-
Then why does Chris handle money for a right for Life group when it is a non-issue? What happens to the funds generated for a useless cause?
Chad said:
“But I also hate that millions of people in our country are uninsured. I hate that our ecomony is driven by a system that rewards the rich and damns the poor.”
Democrats want to give away everything, healthcare , money-they want you to be totally reliant on the government. God’s word says:
“He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.” (Ephesians 4:28)
I have no problem sharing with someone who is hurting–but to do so because someone is too lazy to work is not acceptable.
There are jobs out there–even McDonald’s offers health insurance to employees. America is filled with lazy people who want something for nothing and Obama’s the man to do it. You can sugar coat it with all the love and compassion you want–the Democratic platform directly contradicts the word of God and you are a hypocrite also.
Chad then said:
“I hate that we are in a pointless war and have killed thousands of innocent people (children included)”
War is not pretty, people die. 6 million of God’s people died in WWII–why ? Because liberal thinking forced America to look the other way. Sadaam killed almost as many of his own people and the world is a better place without him. Do you want another holocaust? Do you think Obama is the peacemaker? Think the world will embrace him? If that happens, he truly is the antichrist and you better start working out your own salvation through fear and trembling.
Matthew 24:24 “For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect–if that were possible.”
I am not deceived, I see the truth-

Thanks for helping destroy the United States, Chad!!!

Chad said-

Stephen,

Grace and peace, bro. Grace and peace.

Let’s dance.

My response-

Just as I thought. When confronted with real questions, you side step–it is the way of the Democratic Party.
Bury your head in the sand, Chad, and dance to the song of Obama the Savior,
When your head is buried, your butt is vulnerable.
I hope you have plenty of Vaseline!!

And we are shocked that Obama won? Look at what the church has turned into!

To point out the Jewish roots of Christianity almost always sparks argument and discussion–why? Because of a theology that has been taught in the church since before Constantine called Christianity the official Roman religion. A theology where the church has replaced Israel as God’s chosen people. A false teaching from the pits of hell. Let me ask you–what exactly is the Bible? Is it God’s Word? Sure it is. Is it God’s instruction? Yes, absolutely! But what the Bible is in it’s most basic form is a history of the Israelites, God’s Chosen people. Then right after that it is a love story between God and who? HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE! which are who?? THE ISRAELITES!!!! And where in the Bible does it say the church has replaced Israel? IT DOESN”T! We have become a part of Israel. God consistently in his Word reminds us of his love for his people and his everlasting forgiveness for them! And we are blessed to be a part of his people, not having replaced them. The Bible says about Israel that the” gifts and call are irrevocable”. So why would he replace them? That would be like divorce and God does not liken to divorce. To say the church has replaced Israel is arrogant and prideful, not to mention a boldface lie! If our roots are Jewish, what does that make us? Muslim? Get a clue, people! An apple tree does produce oranges, because at it’s root it is an apple tree. Christianity is a cult and a bastard religion–and it needs to return to the beginning of it’s existence or else when  Barak the antichrist takes over and real perecution starts, you’ll all be crying like sniveling pansies wondering “what the hell happened?” The Jews have withstood the test of time and by all means should have been eradicated from existence, but GOD is true to his word and his people and I am standing with Israel and returning to the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus–and he’s Jewish!!!! Consider yourself warned!

    MORE TO COME!!!!

Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wesley and many other great men of God. They were all the foundation of some Christian denomination based on their teachings. Lutherans, Calvinists, Wesleyans–all religions that follow what these men taught. But was their teachings true revelation from God? Or was it not of God at all? When God reveals His word, it seems it should help bring the body of Christ closer together. But is that the case with the above stated men and others who have different denominations branched off of their teachings? Each time one of these “men of God” introduced a doctrine God supposedly revealed to them through scripture, it caused more division and unity.  Wasn’t Jesus’ prayer  “that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:21) Do we have unity in the church day? Is the church as powerful as she was in the early days?

What was it that made the church so powerful back in the day? Marketing? Cool music? Being purpose driven? No, it wasn’t any of these things. What it was is that the church was securely attached to her roots-ISRAEL. Jesus prayer for unity was based on the structure of the Jewish custom of community. Jews have strong ties to one another and bond together because of who they are. Early church leaders were Jewish and lived this way. All the believers were together and had everything in common. “Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,” (Acts 2:45-46). It was not only a religious thing, but a cultural thing. Jews do not separate the two. But might I point out how we as Americans separate the two. We have our religious side and or cultural side. We have two different lives because we are afraid of what the repercussions might be if we act at work like we do at church on Sunday.  If Barak Obama were to acknowledge  instead of lie about what he was taught while under the pastorship of Jeremiah Wright, he would have never made it to the level he is today–why? Because he separated the cultural from the religious, something we all tend to do as Americans. Because we are afraid of what others will think if we stand up for what we believe. We might not be as popular if people knew we were against homosexuality, abortion, putting a Muslim in the White House. These ideals have crept into the church because we have been separated from our nourishment for quite some time.

I would like you to do an experiment for me, if you dare. First read Romans 11 CAREFULLY. Then go in your back yard and remove a branch from one of your trees and place it where you can see what happens over the next few days and weeks. Heck, go ahead and put it in a jar of water–I don’t care! Let me know how long it survives!  And, consider how long the church has been separated for her root system–it is no wonder the church is dried up and dead and running on flaky theology!
